We spent 5 days at the lake with Joe's family...it was a blast!!
The house was great-awesome lake view, cool deck, relaxing fire pit for roasting marshmallows, and best of all....water fun!!
Jakey has never done the lake thing, so we weren't sure how he would do. He loved it!! He wore no shoes for 5 days. He swam in the lake-until he saw a fish in there. After that, it took some bribery to get him back in. He rode and eventually drove the sea-doo(mom was working the gas pedal). His favorite thing to do was circles. He rode in the pontoon boat, swam with his cousins, fished with his Spiderman fishing pole(didn't catch anything). He ate lots of junk food and roasted marshmallows. Actually he would stick it on the fork, hold it over the fire for about 2 seconds and then eat it. Hardly roasting!! We played soccer, volleyball, tried badmitten, played Guitar Hero and Rock Band(mom had the most fun with these two). Jake also spent a LOT of time drawing. Well, actually he spent a lot of time watching other people draw...mostly Grandma. He enjoyed watching her draw pics of surrounding scenery.
