Fair Day Fun

Today was Fair Day! That meant no school and a trip to the State Fair of Texas!

We made our usual first stop at the Fletcher's Corny Dog stand. YUM! Then we headed down to the Midway for some games and rides. Jake and Elyssa rode and I watched from the sides. The second ride they did was the teacups. Elyssa was spinning the cups so fast and they were both laughing. The laughter stopped quickly once the ride stopped and Jake threw up! In fact, threw up twice to be exact. Once in the teacup and once by the exit door. I guess corny dogs and teacup spinning don't go well together.

The day turned out great. Jake's stomach settled down and they rode more rides, played more games, and ate more food. We walked out of fair with 4 swords, 4 stuffed animals, 3 backpacks, and one corny dog for my friend who couldn't make it.
